Gulfport, FloridaFishing charters from our home dock
The boat lives here. You park at Mariner's Cove, walk down the dock, and the day starts without a drive.
Gulfport is home port. The 35' Contender sits at Mariner's Cove Marina on 31st Ave S, which means a Gulfport charter has no transit built into it — no meeting somewhere else at 4:30AM to drive to a boat, no shuttling between a shop and a slip. On a full-day offshore trip we're loading at 5AM and idling out shortly after.
From the dock we run out through Boca Ciega Bay and into the Gulf. That geography is the actual reason this operation is built the way it is: we're on the Gulf side of the peninsula already, so a long-range day spends its hours getting west to the fish instead of getting out of a bay system first.
If you live in Gulfport or you're staying near Beach Boulevard for the weekend, this is the shortest possible distance between your front door and a hundred-plus miles of open water.
